The straw

The roof will be thatched with artificial straw, made of sustainable, inflamable plastic composit. It should last for at least 80 year, can be recycled and doesn't need maintanance like an ordinary thatched roof :-)

This product has been on the market for a bit longer than a year now but the innovation and development was made over the last decade.

The color can be adjusted - we'll soon see if that's nescessary!!
